We started out 2021 with the beautiful wedding of Tess and Jordan! The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous January day.

We had already gotten a sneak peek of Tess’ dress when we did her bridal session at Botanical Gardens in City Park. It was so flowy with many layers, which made for the perfect twirling dress! We are excited to finally share some of her bridal portraits!

As the ladies got ready at Tess’ parent’s house they wore the cutest black and pink matching silk pajama sets. Their dresses for the wedding were so pretty! Each bridesmaid picked out their own style dress. They were sage green and they had furs shawls in case it got cold.

We love the special details of a wedding day! Tess’ parents gave her an embroidered piece of fabric that had a sweet note on it to wrap around her bouquet, which was made up of all white roses, and Jordan wrote her a sweet letter to read while she was getting ready!

The guys got ready at Tess and Jordan’s house. The groomsman all wore a classic black tuxedo while Jordan wore a suit with tails. They popped champagne and had a great time hanging out before the bus picked them up to head to the ceremony location.

The ceremony was held outside of St. Mary’s Chapel in Rivertown, which was all lit up with Christmas lights. It started at 4:30, just as the sun was starting to set behind the chapel! We love when the couple chooses someone they know to marry them; it makes the ceremony so much more personal.  The officiant was Tess’ uncle and he told the story of how they met when they were young! (Fun fact – Angela’s husband was the officiant for Amber’s wedding!)

During family portraits the guests enjoyed a champagne cocktail hour in the park followed by a second line led by a brass band to the venue down the street, The Crossing.

After taking a moment to take in that they were finally married, the DJ announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Morton!

The first dances were so fun to watch! Tess and Jordan danced to “I want to be your man” by Zapp and Roger. They were full of energy and you could tell they were having the best time! You could see that Tess and her dad have a special relationship as they danced to “Brown eyed girl” by Van Morrison. They enjoyed dancing the night away with their closest friends and family!

Test and Jordan, y’all are an amazing couple and we wish y’all a lifetime of love and happiness!
